Paula and Simon Strethill-Smith are creators of pressed felt gollies and felt character dolls. Original designs and moulds are created entirely by the artists who work as a team; they are also international award-winning bear artists and recreate old-looking teddy bears in miniature. Simon draws each character and then sculpts the head, body, leg and boot or shoe moulds for each design. Paula then completes the characters, dressing them and hand-painting the features. The characters range from 15 to 20cm tall (6-8in), are fully jointed and come complete with accessories.
