Guardian Angel

Natalia attended Art College in Chelyabinsk and then began making dolls in 1988. She is very interested in characters from fairy tales, Russian and English classic literary works, but sometimes writes her own stories about her creations.

All her dolls are unique and one-of-a-kind, usually in sizes from 7.5 to 45cm (3 to 17.5in). Each doll is individually modeled with heads, arms and legs on a wire armature and is posable. She takes a great deal of time to make a doll's body of wood or ceramics, sews the costume entirely by hand, and completes its decoration.
