Elena has worked as a designer of goods since 1980 and is a member of the Union of Designers of Russia.

Having started dollmaking in 1980, she makes one-of-a-kind cloth dolls - girls and ladies in period costume, literary heroes, brides, fantasy dolls and girls in Russian native dress.

The Russian costumes for her dolls are authentic, accurately recording regional dress to give a real idea of Russian culture.

Her work has been exhibited at numerous craft exhibitions in Russia and she has made dolls representing the heroes of Alexander Pushkin's tales for the State Museum of Boldino.

Elena's new doll collection is called “ Mood of the Month” and each doll represents one of the months:

1.      January – “THE WHITE QUEEN ”

2.      February – “TO MY VALENTINE”

3.      March – “SNOW MAIDEN”

4.      April – “SPRING CLEANING”

5.      May – “THE VIOLET”

6.      June – “JUNE ROSE”

7.      July – “THE FLOWER LADY”

8.      August – “RED SUMMER”

9.      September – “THE LAST KISS”

10.   October – “THE FALL BALL”

11.   November – “THE BLACK VAIL”

12.   December – “THE SNOW FLAKE”.
